Designed for optimal comfort for patients at risk or low risk of pressure injury,
the AreaCare Zephyr is a unique foam air combination system – a three layered
memory foam mattress enhanced by a powered air system to increase pressure
redistribution capabilities. Ideally suited for palliative care or patients suffering from
joint pain, dysmorphic body shape or at risk of post intensive care syndrome.
A full mattress replacement system, the Zephyr can be used on both a
standard or profiling bed frame. The ideal bridging surface between
static and dynamic, offering superior comfort and increased protection
for patients still able to reposition themselves.

Top Cover
Multi-stretch material for reduced shear and
friction. Seams are stitched for strength,
and welded for maximum infection control. Material is
pre-treated for protection against mould, mildew and
bacteria. Includes essential labelling information for
safety and convenience.

Power Cord Retention System
Series of loops inbuilt along the mattress
base, designed to retain the power cord for
safer storage. Reduces potential as a trip hazard and
accidental disconnection from power.

Hanging Hooks
Quick-Release Connector
Air hose quick release connectors are easy to
attach and detach (for emergency deflation).
During patient transport or transfer, ends can be snapped
together to retain air in the mattress for up to 24 hours (time
frame dependent on patient weight and circumstances).

Rear hooks allow the unit to hang from bed
ends. Alternatively the unit can be placed flat
beneath the bed.
