Set in six acres of beautiful grounds, we have some of the best facilities in Bromley in a great location, with ample off-street parking. In addition to eight grass courts, we have four artificial clay and seven hard courts and with our floodlighting, you can play all year round. We have 19 tennis courts in total – 8 of the best grass courts in Kent, as well as 4 floodlit clay courts, and 7 hard courts, 4 of which are also floodlit. We offer tennis 365 days of the year, until 10pm at night. Social tennis If you are looking for social tennis we have plenty to offer you. Club sessions take place three to four times a week. They are organised sessions offering short matches of seven games. They are a great way to meet other members and are very popular. We run club tournaments and leagues during the summer, winter and Bank Holidays. These are suitable for all standards and most work on a handicap system. You are welcome to bring non-members to play at the club up to five times a year, as long as they pay the modest visitor's fee. Competitive tennis Sundridge Park enters several teams in the Kent and North Kent leagues for men, ladies, mixed and vets alike, offering competitive tennis at all levels throughout the summer and winter. Junior tennis Sundridge Park believes juniors are the future of the club and gives them priority on two courts. We offer juniors tennis as a social activity or competitive sport, or to support a GCSE in PE. For junior members there is a full programme of group lessons to choose from, suitable for ages 5-18, as well as tennis camps in the school holidays. Every Friday is ‘Family night’, a fun session organised by our coaches for children of all ages. Junior players can also enter club tournaments and may be asked to play in senior league matches, we believe ‘if they are good enough, they are old enough’. Do you want your children to play? Courts We have four heated squash/racketball courts maintained to a high standard, available seven days a week 9am to 10pm, which can be booked up to three weeks in advance. Membership is all inclusive – there are no extra charges for court hire or lighting. Social squash If you are looking for social squash we have plenty to offer you. Club night is held on the first Friday of the month, starting at about 6.30pm. Whatever your ability you will enjoy playing against other members and soaking up the friendly atmosphere and pleasant chat afterwards in the clubhouse. Doubles are played on Sunday evenings. Competitive squash Our squash teams play in the Priory League on Tuesday evenings. We also have our own club league run over a 5-6 week period, as well as leagues and ladders for racketball. There are weekly group lessons run by a qualified coach and many of the tennis juniors play squash as well. Do you want to give your children an opportunity to learn a new sport? Tennis Richard Whichello is a highly experienced and highly qualified tennis coach who, as a player, represented both county and country. He heads up our team of tennis coaches. They offer an extensive programme of lessons for adults and juniors, beginners through to performance level, on an individual or group basis. There's bound to be something to suit you. Group lessons are paid for half a term in advance, so you are never committed to more than six or seven lessons at a time. Individual lessons vary in price according to the seniority of the coach and the length of the lesson. Squash and Racketball John Barry is our ‘England Squash’ qualified coach. He teaches in the evenings and weekends, at times to suit you. Whilst most of his teaching is done on a one-to-one basis, he runs group sessions for juniors on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. We find that many new members played these sports as youngsters or in their 20s. We can help you pick up where you left off, or just get better whilst getting fitter! Sundridge Park members are a very sociable bunch and enjoy spending time with friends and family in our friendly clubhouse. We have a fully licensed bar open mid-week lunchtimes and evenings and all day Saturday and Sunday, offering a great selection of beverages including guest beers, speciality teas and a wide range of soft drinks and snacks. “Sundridge Park know how to party!” Every Tuesday evening there is the opportunity to enjoy a two-course meal at the club, you simply sign up in the clubhouse for this mouth-watering treat. We hold many social events during the year including barbeques, live music evenings, family discos, quiz nights and charity fundraisers. These events are always popular and great fun. Every few years we organise a marquee ball which is a great opportunity to dress up and let your hair down. Members can also hire the clubhouse for private functions at very reasonable rates.
