Spanish Dictionary Tutorial
Useful Online Dictionary sites: The following online dictionaries provide
information on how to pronounce the searched word, the part of speech of a word
(are you looking for a noun? Verb? Adjective?...), synonyms (same meaning) and
antonyms (opposite meaning), the history of the word, its special uses, etc.

Real Academia Española Dictionary: Diccionario de la lengua

There are two dictionary options here that you can use. The first –Diccionario de la
Lengua Española- is the one most commonly used. Use this dictionary if you simply
want the definition(s) to the word you are searching for.
For information on the etymology (root and origin) of the word, look directly below
the vocabulary word, its etymology will be listed there. Below is an example:
