The children are more interested in math because it is now fun and they are in control!
Counting and recognizing numbers. Counting how many people at the table or how many friends at
school. They use more numbers!
Children are able to play the games individually and explore the game alone as well as at small group
time. During this time, a couple children played the game with a teacher. The teacher would ask and
show on her hands the numbers and the children would use the mouse to select the answers.
The kids can now recognize numbers 1-5 on their fingers without teacher assistance and they can
now recognize most of their shapes and participate in number songs.
I had one child that has been in my class for two years and was having problems with his numbers.
Now that he has been doing the math games, the numbers are coming easy for him.
One of my children has begun to recognize numerals: “Disney Channel is a 2 and a 9 (29); Disney
XD is a 7 and a 6 (76); Nickelodeon is a 2 and an 8 (28). He is using his skills for his favorite channels
on TV.
Made me more aware of each individual child’s computer skills and the younger children’s math
levels. Shows me which children can/cannot count with fingers and/or objects.

Thank you for the time spent developing this math software. It has to be very time consuming! Your
concern for us to teach more classroom math concepts shows your concern for future generations.
Thanks for sharing your brain waves with us and supporting us!
This has truly been a wonderful learning experience. It has opened my eyes to teaching numbers in a
different way. The grid in the classroom will be a learning wonder. Thank you for all the new ideas!
I'm excited to start working on this.
I learned how to use words ‘how many’, ‘what next’ in referring to numbers
I learned new activities that I can use in my room.
The importance of concept development.
The process children must go through to learn how to count.
Different strategies that one can use to teach counting.
Great way to learn about math and how to be intentional when playing and objective ways to observe
children
Everything was really helpful – put more hands-on experience and examples. More Spanish learning
through playing.
Information was well presented and organized. I enjoyed the interaction; it was fun to have a handson training.
I am very excited about the program. I feel so fortunate to be able to use this program to empower
children to be ready to be successful in the education of their young life.
