Aphorisms of Confucius
Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.
A person who has committed a mistake and doesn't
correct it is committing another mistake.
Forget injuries. Never forget kindnesses.
Do not impose on others what you yourself do not desire.
I hear and I know. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.
Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.
It does not matter how slowly you go as
long as you do not stop.
Real knowledge is to know the extent of
one's ignorance.
To move a mountain, one begins by
carrying away small stones.
An aphorism is a statement that is
really quotable; it makes a profound
point in a simple, easily remembered
way.
For instance, Benjamin Franklin said,
"Lost time is never found again." It's
a simple way to state that time is
fleeting and should not be wasted.
Wheresoever you go, go with all your
heart.
Our greatest glory is not in never falling,
but in getting up every time we do.
Before embarking on a journey of revenge,
dig two graves.
