For large diameter welt cord use wider width iron-on bonding tape. 1. Iron strip of bonding tape to the face of fabric. 2. Remove release paper from tape (while tape is warm it is slightly tacky, making it easy to position the fabric together). 4. Iron the 2 pieces of fabric together being careful to keep it straight & even. Tuck ends in and seal using iron-on bonding tape. 5. Some fabrics may require iron-on bonding tape on both sides, while others will only need it on one side. -When shirring fabric on the welt cord be sure to allow extra fullness in the fabric.
