Meltham CE Primary School Everest Challenge 2017
All the children and staff in the school are going to work together to climb Mount Everest!
On Friday 12th May each child will walk 0.5 miles and climb 300 feet up Calmlands Road to
Royd Edge. After school, staff are walking or cycling up Wessenden Head , 2.1 miles and
1000 feet of climbing. We will add all these climbs together to see how many times we have
climbed Everest. We aim to climb Everest at least 5 times!
Please sponsor our event either with a fixed amount or an amount per Everest climbed. We
are raising money to create a reflective learning area in our school courtyard.

After the event, write the number of times we managed to climb Mount Everest in
the mountain peak so your friends and family know how much to pay you.
Then return this form with any money to school by Friday 19th May.
