New water-pricing policies
Dear Customers,
We wish to inform you that as of the next (third) quarter of 2013 the Water Board of Larnaka advances the
adjustment of water rates in order to fully comply with the government water-pricing policies and the
directions of the European Water Framework Directive. The new rates reflect the cost of the Board for the
satisfaction of all categories of consumers, without allowing one use to subsidize the other, they provide
corrections for the equalization of charges, irrespective of the size of each household, and they contain
elements to discourage undue consumption and prevent wasting.
The new tariffs against which consumption will be charged per quarter in each establishment which is
served by the Water Board of Larnaka are the following:
