other data during transport enforces security. A state of the art firewall and intrusion prevention system protects your data and
provides monitoring capabilities. Advanced disaster recovery processes eliminate loss of data in the event of system failure. AWS
is the same infrastructure that Amazon’s multi-billion dollar business runs on so you can rest assured that your data and your

What is Cloud Computing?
According to a recent study completed by Gartner, the use
of cloud computing is on the rise. Gartner surveyed over
100 companies and found that 95% were already using, or
planned to use cloud computing in the near future. They
also found that companies utilizing the cloud saw positive
business impact from deploying cloud solutions.
The Gartner study defines cloud computing as follows:
• A style of computing where scalable and elastic IT-related
capabilities are provided as a service to customers through
Internet technologies
• A model for enabling convenient, on-demand
network access to a shared pool of configurable
computing resources that can be rapidly provisioned
and released with minimal management effort or service
provider interaction
• A model for delivering software applications,
business intelligence (BI) and process management
as a managed Web service
Typically, on-premises ERP has been the engine that runs
