Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer
This PVC Peanut Holder is easy to make and helps
stabilize the peanut to make training easier. Total
time to cut parts and assemble is about 2 hours.
PVC comes in a variety of colors now that make for
an attractive Peanut Holder. You will want to use 11/4 inch diameter schedule 40 or furniture grade
PVC to make the strongest PVC Peanut Holder. Do
not use smaller PVC or inferior quality PVC.

Instructions below are for the small peanut

same instructions, substituting correct size parts.

Step 1: Measure and Cut PVC Pipe
Step 2 – Assemble Uprights
rest of the assembly go together uniformly and
strengthen the holder.
Note: If you are using PVC pipe and parts that
have ink lettering/markings, as you assemble you
can position the pipe lettering and bar codes to
the inside or down as you assemble so that it
doesn’t show on the finished product. This is
purely for presentation (or laziness to remove on
my part). You can also remove most of it with
Goof Off.
Step 5 – Assemble Center Cross Bars
Glue one endcap to each of the 5-inch upright PVC
pieces; push hard to fully insert pipe into fitting.
Step 3 – Assemble Uprights into 5-Way
Connections
Glue the two 14 inch crosspieces into the 5-way
connectors of the assembled center sides to form a
square.
Step 6 – Glue Endcaps to Legs
Glue the uprights (with endcaps) into the top of
each 5-Way connector; push hard to fully insert.
Step 4 – Assemble Center Sides
Glue one 10-inch PVC piece into two of the 5-way
assemblies. Make another for the other side.
Always fully insert the parts with force to help the

Step 7 – Glue Legs to Center Assembly
Glue the legs into the 5-way connectors so that the
legs extend outward from the 14 inch center pieces
and at a 90 degree angle to the 10 inch center sides.
Step 8 – Assemble Ends
Glue a 5 inch pipe into each connection left in the
5-way connectors. These are the left and right side
pieces.

Finished peanut holder.
Glue one 90 degree elbow onto one end of each 14
inch piece of pipe that is left (just one end right
now).
Your peanut should fit very snugly into the holder.
If it doesn’t, inflate until it does fit tightly.
Glue the other 90 degree elbow on the other end of
the 14 inch pipe making sure it is relatively close to
the same angle as the other elbow. Place the piece
on a floor or level surface and quickly adjust so that
the piece will lay flat and not rock on the floor. This
is important, otherwise your peanut holder will be
twisted or won’t fit together properly. Repeat with
the other end piece.

Step 9 -- Applying Non-Skid Tape (Optional)
I highly recommend applying 3M Safety Walk
Tread to the bottom of your peanut holder if you are
using your peanut and holder on carpet or mats as it
does a very good job to prevent slipping. Do not
use this tape on linoleum or wood floors; it will
scratch your floor. 3M Safety Walk Tread is sold in
some hardware stores by the foot or by the roll at
Home Depot in the paint department area.
Cut 8 strips (about 2 inches by 2 inches) of 3M
Safety Walk Tread. Turn the peanut holder upside
down and apply 2 strips to the bottom of the 90
degree elbows at each corner. Trim to fit. These are
the high points of the holder.
Take your canine fitness workout anywhere and you
can do hands-free training without the worry of the
peanut and dog going opposite directions. You
never need a wall with the peanut holder. Makes
getting on and off the peanut so much easier for the
dog when it’s stable and you are free to help less
confident dogs.
You should always consider your dog’s safety with
every piece of equipment. Do not skimp on inferior
quality materials or smaller diameter PVC. Practice
safety when getting on and off the peanut.
I’ve take about 2 inch x 2 inch square of the Safety
Walk Tread and trimmed corners as shown.
Apply Safety Walk Tread to the bottom of the 5way connectors.
