Offer Terms
1.
The promotion period is from 16 January 2017 to 31 March 2017 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).
2.
Wealth Management Guaranteed Lucky Draw Welcome Gift (“Welcome Offer”):
a.
To be entitled with the Welcome Offer, customers are required to newly take up or upgrade the account to Wealth
Management (applicable to sole-name account only) and fulfill all of the following requirements during the Promotion
Period (“Eligible Wealth Management customers”):
i.
Have not taken up or cancelled Wealth Management in sole-name in Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited
(“BOCHK”) in the past 6 months prior to 16 January 2017, and
ii.
Complete the “Questionnaire on Investment Preference” during the Promotion Period (Customers who
have completed “Questionnaire on Investment Preference” during 1 October 2016 and 15 January 2017
are exempt from this requirement.), and
iii.
According to the date of the first time in newly taking up / upgrading the account to Wealth Management
during the promotion period, increase the “Total Relationship Balance” with HK$500,000 or above at
designated month as stated below:

Collect the Welcome Offer at BOCHK Credit Card WeChat Official Account (WeChat ID: “BOCHK_CC”)
during 16 January 2017 and 9 April 2017 (both dates inclusive) (“Game Period”). For the details in
collecting the Welcome Offer, please refer to Clause 2b.
v.
Maintain Wealth Management with “Total Relationship Balance” of HK$1 Million or above at the time of
BOCHK crediting rewards or issuing gift redemption letter. For the dates of issuing a gift redemption letter
and crediting rewards, please refer to Clause 2(b)(iv).
b.
Collecting the Welcome Offer:
i.
Bound with BOCHK Credit Card WeChat Official Account during the Game Period and maintain the bound
setting till 9 April 2017, and
ii.
Collect the Welcome Offer at the game page of “Wealth Management Guaranteed Lucky Draw Welcome
Gift” at BOCHK Credit Card WeChat Official Account. The system will randomly offer a Welcome Offer to
each customer and each customer will be notified with the offer result instantly. The Welcome Offer will be
either 100g “Commemorative Gold Plate for the Centenary of BOCHK” (3 quotas in total) or other rewards
including EUR100, USD100, AUD100 and HKD100.
iii.
The Welcome Offer collected by Eligible Wealth Management customer in the first time during the Game
Period will be considered as final and each eligible Wealth Management customer can be awarded with the
Welcome Offer once only during the Game Period.
iv.
BOCHK will issue a gift redemption letter and credit rewards in following designated months according to
the date of newly taking up or upgrading account to Wealth Management in the first time during the
Promotion Period. Customer notification will be provided upon crediting rewards.

If Eligible Wealth Management customers are awarded with 100g “Commemorative Gold Plate for the
Centenary of BOCHK”, BOCHK will issue a redemption letter to customers to notify the arrangement. If
Eligible Wealth Management customers are awarded with other rewards (i.e. $100 of EUR / USD / AUD /
HKD), the rewards will be credited as Cash Rebate to Multi-Currency Savings Account (applicable to
foreign currencies rewards) or HKD Savings Account (applicable to HKD reward) of Eligible Wealth
Management customers. Customers are required to still maintain Wealth Management with “Total
Relationship Balance” of HK$1 Million or above at the time of BOCHK crediting the rewards or issuing a gift
redemption letter, or else the reward will be forfeited and no replacement of rewards will be offered.
vi.
If Eligible Wealth Management customers fulfill Clause 2(a)(i-iii) but have not collected the Welcome Offer
or have not hold Multi Currency Savings Account at the time of BOCHK crediting foreign currencies
rewards, BOCHK will replace the Welcome Offer with HK$300 Free Spending Credit to the customer’s
BOC Credit Card. Customers are required to still maintain Wealth Management with “Total Relationship
Balance” of HK$1 Million or above at the time of crediting Free Spending Credit, or else the reward will be
forfeited and no replacement of rewards will be offered.
c.
BOC Credit Card Free Spending Credit (“Free Spending Credit”):
i.
Free Spending Credit is meant exclusively for retail purchase and cannot be used for cash advance,
settlement of financial charge or any previous outstanding balance accrued before the Free Spending
Credit is credited.
ii.
Free Spending Credit cannot be converted into cash or exchanged for other gifts or coupons and is also not
refundable and transferrable.
iii.
If customers hold more than one BOC Credit Card, the Free Spending Credit will be credited to the highest
tier BOC Credit Card Account (the credit card tier in descending order is Visa Infinite Card, CUP Dual
Currency Diamond Card, World Master Card, Visa Signature Card, Platinum Card, Titanium Card, Gold
Card and Classic Card).
iv.
The status of the credit card accounts held by the customers should be normal, valid and in good standing,
and such accounts should not have overdue/bad records, nor have they been cancelled/terminated for any
reason, and the customers should not have breached the Card User Agreement when the Free Spending
Credit is credited by BOC Credit Card (International) Ltd. (the "Card Company"). If the customers cannot
fulfil the above requirements, BOCHK and the Card Company reserve the right to forfeit the relevant offer
without prior notice.
d.
“BOCHK Credit Card” WeChat Official Account is owned by BOCHK. BOCHK is the host of the Game and is in
charge of the arrangement and operation of the Game. BOCHK will collect customers’ WeChat Open ID, Account
Bound Type and the Participation Date and Time at the Game Page of “Wealth Management Guaranteed Lucky
Draw Welcome Gift” at “BOCHK Credit Card” WeChat Official Account for the purpose of checking customer’s
eligibility of the rewards and rewards delivery.
e.
Registration record (including but not limited to date and time) maintained in BOCHK system shall be final. BOCHK
will neither be liable for the failure in offering the Welcome Offer due to incorrect or inapplicable information
submitted by Eligible Wealth Management customers, nor arrange the reward via any other channels on individual
basis. BOCHK shall, in no circumstances, be liable for any delay, omission, fault or incapability in identification,
which is caused by the breakdown in computer and / or communication network or technical problems or accidents.
f.
If BOCHK has reasonable grounds to believe anyone makes use of any methods or instigate anyone to interrupt the
operation of the Game (including the abuse of other people’s WeChat Account fraudulently) to cause the Game
being disrupted or breakdown, or to threaten, destruct or affect the operation of the Game and its fairness, BOCHK
have the rights to terminate the persons’ eligibility in participation into the Game and their entitlement of the reward,
and reserves the rights to pursue.
g.
Eligible Wealth Management customers participating into the Game means they have read, understood and agreed
the terms set in the Game. BOCHK reserves the rights to cancel the qualification of the persons who violate the
terms of the Game.
3.
Deposit / Investment / Payroll Service Rewards:
For the details of the offers, please refer to the terms in relevant promotion materials or contact the branch staff of
BOCHK.
4.
Enrich Banking Welcome Rewards:
a.
Customers who newly take up or upgrade the account to Enrich Banking (applicable to sole-name account only)
(“Eligible Enrich Banking Customers”) via BOCHK’s branch during the Promotion Period will be instantly rewarded
with a Portable Luggage Scale (“The Gift”).
b.
The Gift is not applicable to customers who have taken up or cancelled Wealth Management / Enrich Banking in
sole-name with BOCHK in past 6 months prior to 16 January 2017.
c.
The above Gift is limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis while stock lasts
d.
Each Eligible Enrich Banking customer can be rewarded with the Gift once only during the entire Promotion Period.
e.
The usage of the above Gift is subject to the terms as specified by the supplier(s). BOCHK is not the supplier of the
Gift. Any enquiry or complaint in respect of the Gift should be directed to the relevant supplier(s). BOCHK gives no
guarantee to the Gift or the services of the supplier(s), or does not accept any liability arising in conjunction with the
use of Gift or services provided by the supplier(s).
Monthly Service Fee of Wealth Management / Enrich Banking
a.

The monthly service fee will be debited from the customers’ Integrated Account Services settlement accounts. If
the Monthly Service Fee cannot be successfully debited from the aforementioned settlement accounts, BOCHK
reserves the right to terminate customers’ Integrated Account Services at its sole discretion. The relevant

General Terms:
a.
Customers can enjoy all the offers listed above simultaneously. However, these offers cannot be used in conjunction with
other promotion offers that are not listed in this promotion material.
b.
BOCHK reserves the right to offer an alternative gift as a replacement. The value and feature of the alternative gift might
be different from the original Gift.
c.
The above Gift or Reward cannot be transferred, returned, exchanged for other gift/coupons or redeemed for cash.
BOCHK will not take any responsibility and will not re-issue or replace the Gift / Gift redemption letter if it is lost, damaged,
smeared or stolen under any circumstances (including postage).
d.

e.
BOCHK reserves the rights to amend, suspend or terminate the above products, services and offers and to amend the

The Terms of the Game are construed in accordance with, and are governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special
Administrative Region.
h.
Should there be any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions of this promotion material, the Chinese
version shall prevail.
