An Act to apply certain sums out of the Consoli­
dated Revenue Fund, the Government Rail­
ways Fund, the Road Transport and Traffic
Fund, the Metropolitan Transport Trust
General Fund, the Newcastle and District
Transport Trust General Fund, and the
Sydney Harbour Trust Fund, towards the
services of the Year 1936-1937. [Assented
to, 31st October, 1936.]
WHERE
A S we Y o u r M a j e s t y ' s m o s t dutiful a n d
loyal subjects, the M e m b e r s of the Legislative
Assembly of New South W a l e s in P a r l i a m e n t assembled,
h a v e resolved to g r a n t to Y o u r M a j e s t y the s u m of F i v e
millions eight h u n d r e d a n d ninety t h o u s a n d seven h u n ­
d r e d a n d thirty-five p o u n d s , t h a t is to s a y —
Out of the Consolidated R e v e n u e F u n d , the s u m

And w h e r e a s we desire to m a k e good out of the said
Funds the sum so g r a n t e d to H i s M a j e s t y : Be it t h e r e f o r e
enacted by the K i n g ' s Most Excellent Majesty, by a n d
with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council
and
a n d Legislative Assembly of N e w S o u t h W a l e s in P a r l i a ­
m e n t assembled, a n d by the a u t h o r i t y of the same, as
follows:—

h u n d r e d a n d thirty-seven, as laid upon the Table of the
H o u s e , to d e f r a y the salaries, m a i n t e n a n c e a n d working
expenses a n d other expenses of the D e p a r t m e n t of R o a d
T r a n s p o r t a n d T r a m w a y s d u r i n g the m o n t h s of Novem­
ber a n d December or following m o n t h of the financial y e a r

6. Out of the Sydney H a r b o u r T r u s t F u n d t h e r e shall
a n d m a y be issued a n d applied for or t o w a r d s m a k i n g
good the S u p p l y so resolved to be g r a n t e d to H i s Majesty,
the sum of Sixty t h o u s a n d a n d t h i r t y p o u n d s to be
expended at the r a t e s which a r e shown on the E s t i m a t e s
for the financial y e a r ending thirtieth d a y of J u n e , one
t h o u s a n d nine h u n d r e d a n d thirty-seven, as laid upon the
Table of the H o u s e , to defray the salaries, m a i n t e n ­
ance a n d w o r k i n g expenses a n d other expenses of the
M a r i t i m e Services B o a r d of New South Wales d u r i n g the
m o n t h s of November and December or following month
of the financial y e a r ending t h i r t i e t h day of J u n e , one
t h o u s a n d nine h u n d r e d a n d thirty-seven, subject to the
r a t e of a n y reduction t h a t m a y h e r e a f t e r be m a d e in the
e x p e n d i t u r e of the y e a r 1936-1937.
7. T h e T r e a s u r e r shall issue and p a y the said sums
for the Services aforesaid in such m a n n e r a n d in such
p r o p o r t i o n s as the Governor, by W a r r a n t s or O r d e r s
in w r i t i n g u n d e r his hand, a n d directed to the said
T r e a s u r e r , shall from time to time o r d e r and direct.
A n d the p a y m e n t s so to be m a d e shall be c h a r g e d u p o n
a n d p a i d out of the Consolidated Revenue F u n d , the
G o v e r n m e n t R a i l w a y s F u n d , the R o a d T r a n s p o r t a n d
Traffic F u n d , the M e t r o p o l i t a n T r a n s p o r t T r u s t General
F u n d , the Newcastle a n d District T r a n s p o r t T r u s t
General F u n d , and the Sydney H a r b o u r T r u s t F u n d ,
respectively.
8. The T r e a s u r e r shall in his accounts from time to
time be allowed credit for all sums of money p a i d by
him in p u r s u a n c e of such W a r r a n t s or O r d e r s . A n d
the receipts of the respective p e r s o n s to whom the same
shall be so paid shall be full and valid discharges to
the said T r e a s u r e r in p a s s i n g his said accounts for such
sums as shall be t h e r e i n mentioned, a n d he shall receive
credit for the same accordingly.
9 . This Act may be cited as the " S u p p l y Act (No. 2 ) ,
1936."
