This document provides the facility with requirements to ensure correct installation and subsequent proper
performance of the ENDODRY Storage and Drying System.

ENDODRY Storage and Drying System User Manual
This criteria must be met to ensure proper operation of the drying cabinet. It is the responsibility of the
customer to provide qualified personnel to install proper electrical and air supply prior to install.
•
ENDODRY Storage and Drying System uses compressed air according to ISO 8573-1:2010, class 1.4.1
(alternatively medical compressed air) from the equipment provided cable assemblies (quick connector).
•
The required air pressure is 29-116 psi (2-8 bar). The demand of compressed air is a maximum flow rate
of 3.4 cfm (95 l/min) (ANR) and 0.6 cfm (16 l/min) @ 72 psi (5 bar).
•
A flexible air pipe with ¼” or 6 mm inner diameter (EPDM/PVC, bound, 150 psi minimum (10.5 bar)
minimum length 5 feet (1.5m)) is required to connect the ENDODRY Storage and Drying System with the
air pressure system. The 6.5 foot (2 meter) line is included in the shipment.
ELECTRICAL SUPPLY

100-240 VAC ± 10%, single phase, 50/60 Hz, 15 amp circuit
•
Power input: 75W
•
A GFI protected outlet (NEMA 5-15R) within 3 feet (1 meter) of the installation and within reach of the
operator.
•
It is recommended to install a surge protector to protect the ENDODRY Storage and Drying System from
voltage spikes.
SPACE AND FLOORING
•
Self containing leveling pads should be adjusted during installation. For optimal user-safety and
operation, it is recommended that the ENDODRY Storage and Drying System always be placed directly
on the floor, and not on an elevated platform type device.
•

REMOTE ACCESS (NETWORK)
•
If applicable, the control system of the ENDODRY™ Storage and Drying System can be connected to
an ADVANTAGE PLUS® Automated Endoscope Reprocessor(s) or a computer by LAN interface (1xRJ45,
10/100 Mbit) and be operated by
a remote client.
•
Network and internet access are highly recommended to use the external remote function for accessing
the ENDODRY Storage and Drying System.

A network connection to an ADVANTAGE PLUS AER allows for the transfer of operator and
endoscope information.
ENDODRY STORAGE AND DRYING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS CHECKLIST
The ENDODRY Storage and Drying System Installation Checklist is utilized to ensure the installation site meets the
required specifications. If all requirements are met, the site is suitable for the installation of the cabinet.

By signing below, the customer acknowledges that; (1) The customer has reviewed the Site requirements for the
MEDIVATORS™ ENDODRY Storage and Drying System; (2) The customer is solely responsible for meeting each of the
specifications and requirements set forth in these Site Requirements, to ensure proper installation and performance
for the cabinet; (3) The customer is able to meet each of these specifications and requirements; and (4) Failure of
the customer to comply with these Site Requirements and any deviation from the specifications set forth herein may
compromise the functionality of the cabinet, and/or may cause operational issues which will not be covered by the
Medivators Inc. warranty, and hereby disclaimed by MEDIVATORS.
