SPRING SEASON 2017
PRACTICES:
Splashball - K-4th Grade – Mon. & Wed. – 6:15-7:00 PM
Elementary - 4th-6th Grade – Mon. & Wed. – 6:15-7:15 PM.
Junior High - 7th-9th Grade – Tues & Thur. – 5:45-7:00 PM.
High School - 9th-12th Grade – Mon.-Fri. – 2:30-4:00 PM.
Some exceptions apply. A practice calendar will be distributed.
WHEN/WHERE: Season starts February 13 and ends May 19. Practices are held in the 50 M Pool, except
the K-3rd Grade group will be in the Swim Lesson Pool.
GAMES:
Games will be scheduled with other teams including some tournaments. A game
schedule will be distributed. The High School group will be split into Varsity and
Junior Varsity (JV) for games. A team list will be distributed.
TEAM COST:
$75, or $65 for KOPFC Members, plus participation in the Oranges Fundraiser.
Registration and all fees must be paid online with a credit card at kearnswaterpolo.com
or KOPFC.com. Any exceptions talk to Brad. Do not try to pay for anything at the
front counter unless you’ve talked to Brad ahead of time.
USA WATER POLO COST: All players must be registered with USA Water Polo.
• If you only plan to play locally you should register as a Bronze Member - $35.
• If you plan to play out of state, you should register as a Silver Member - $75.
• If you plan to play at JO’s, you should register as a Gold Member - $110.
• If you qualify for free or reduced school lunch, the Gold Level Membership
is only $35. See Brad for this registration form and must be done by mail.
• Register online at www.usawaterpolo.org. Put Kearns as the club (#635).
• All membership types expire December 31, 2017.
TRAVEL TRIPS: The team has three optional trips planned this spring. Extra cost involved and more
information will be distributed.
1. Duke City Invitational, Albuquerque, NM, April 8-9 – 14/U and 12/U.
2. SoCal Tournament/Training Trip - Spring Break – tentative – Varsity Only.
3. Utah Summer Games, Cedar City, April 21-23 – Varsity & JV Boys & Girls.
FUNDRAISER:

We will be selling oranges as a fundraiser again this year to help players raise money to
help the athletes pay for most of the above expenses.
