Money Match-Up - Lakeshore Learning

Directions: Cut along the dashed lines and spread out the cards face down on a flat surface.
How to Play: Explain to children that, for each card that shows pictures of coins, there is a “match” for that card
that shows the value amount for those coins (e.g., the “match” for a card that shows a picture of 3 dimes and
1 nickel would be a card that has “35 cents” written on it). Once kids understand how to play, have them take
turns flipping over two cards at a time. If the cards make a “match” then the child keeps the cards to make a pair.
If not, the child returns the two cards face down and another player takes a turn. Play continues until all pairs
are found!
Note: For younger kids, you may want to keep the coin cards separate from the value cards or use only five
sets of cards at a time for easier play.
