eduroam profile tool for Windows 7/8/10 32 and 64bit Check what version of Windows is running and then open the 32bit or 64bit exe. Check for operating system info in Windows 7 1. Click the Start button , enter Computer in the search box, right-click Computer, then click Properties. 2. Look under Windows edition for the version and edition of Windows that your PC is running. Check for operating system info in Windows 8.1 or Windows RT 8.1 1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Settings, then tap Change PC settings. (If you're using a mouse, point to the bottom-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, click Settings, then click Change PC settings.) 2. Tap or click PC and devices, then tap or click PC info. 3. Look under Windows for the version and edition of Windows your PC is running. 4. On the Start screen, type Computer, press and hold or right-click Computer or This PC (Windows 10), then tap or click Properties. 2. Look under Windows edition for the version and edition of Windows that your PC is running. 3. Look under System for System type to see if you're running a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows. 1. Right-click on the appropriate eduroam file and select “Run as administrator” 2. The file will set up the necessary settings for connecting to the eduroam network and display a notification when installed. Please Note: The downloaded exe file does not install any drivers or software. It has been scripted to create a wireless profile with pre‐defined settings for eduroam.
