THE TWENTY TEN
CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Follow in the footsteps of the stars of The 2010 Ryder Cup, golf’s greatest team tournament, by
becoming a member of the prestigious Twenty Ten Club.
Host venue of Wales’ first ever Ryder Cup, The Twenty Ten Course
was purpose built for one of the world’s biggest and most dramatic
sporting events. The spectacular layout includes many breathtaking
risk and reward challenges.
Membership brings full playing privileges on The Twenty Ten Course,
which nestles snugly in the beautiful Usk Valley, only two hours from
London. It also gives full playing privileges on two other championship
courses, Roman Road and The Montgomerie, as well as the chance to
enjoy access to Celtic Manor’s impressive leisure facilities.
From the gated entrance and valet parking on arrival, to a club
and shoe cleaning service in the luxurious oak-panelled locker
rooms, quality service underscores the experience in The Twenty Ten
Clubhouse. A private members’ lounge with leather chesterfields
and high-backed armchairs completes a club atmosphere of some
refinement.
THROWING DOWN THE GAUNTLET
“The golf course is in phenomenal condition. The golf course
is really well set-up and good golf will be rewarded.”

Head Designer, Ross McMurray.
offered the opportunity to take a chance over long carries of water
but those that do, are spurning the safety–first approach and do so
at their own risk.
An overriding desire was to sculpt 18 holes from the Usk Valley that
would provide a superlative challenge to the world’s best golfers in
match play conditions.
This spectacular and most challenging course is made even more
attractive by the inclusion of no fewer than six signature holes
– the 3rd, 5th, 6th, 14th, 15th and of course the 18th, which is
overlooked by a magnificent clubhouse.
This aspiration manifests itself through the extensive use of
extraordinary water features that have been designed to present
players with classic match play dilemmas. Long–driving players are

The Twenty Ten Clubhouse is a bespoke build. After all, when
you host The Ryder Cup you need a clubhouse to meet the most
exacting standards.
As well as state of the art facilities, the clubhouse is situated to take
full advantage of its prominent position overlooking the 18th green
– a signature hole of The Twenty Ten Course. Members are treated
to the most exhilarating and spectacular panorama of the course
and an enviable view of the final hole from an intimate private
balcony.
Enjoy the luxury of The Twenty Ten locker rooms with their own
lounge and open fire, where you can enjoy a tipple from The Spike
Bar while you change.
There is also a private members’ lounge, which evokes the
traditional laid back elegance of ‘the gentlemen’s club’ with high
back leather chairs, exposed wooden beams and a warming open
hearth.
And those with a hearty appetite can enjoy a meal and a drink in
the AA Rosette award-winning Rafters Restaurant, where from your
table you can enjoy watching proceedings out on the course.
And naturally members are treated to a prompt and unobtrusive
service supplied by our trained and experienced staff.

“I think it’s a wonderful golf course. It’s in terrific shape, and
the holes themselves have a lot of risk/reward, a lot of real
big penalties if you miss-hit a shot and a lot of rewards if you
pull off a shot. This is a great venue for match play.”
Phil Mickelson, US Ryder Cup player

“The Twenty Ten is a really tough golf course. I love the fact that it’s not just drive-it-andbomb-it. You’ve got to have good course management. All of the things I look for in a
golf course.”
