Day 1: Departure from the USA
Day 2: Paris Touch down in Paris where your
Tour Director is waiting at the airport to take
you to your hotel. Later, join a CHA Walking
Tour to begin your orientation of the city.

Castle, the 13th-century fortress immortalized
by poet Lord Byron in the “Prisoner of Chillon.”
Tour Gruyeres’ Cheese Factory to learn how Swiss
cheese is made before returning to Lausanne.
Day 6: Lausanne-Lyon-Provence Leave
Day 3: Paris-Versailles-Paris-(Seine River
Cruise & Eiffel Tower) Morning sightseeing
with your expert Parisian guide highlights the
city’s most famous landmarks: the Place de
l’Opera, Les Invalides, the soaring Eiffel Tower,
and the Place de la Concorde. Included are visits
to Gothic Notre Dame Cathedral for views of
its awe-inspiring rose windows and flying buttresses, and the world-famous Louvre Museum
where you have time to explore the museum at
your own pace using your “CHA Walking Guide.”
This afternoon, visit Versailles Palace, the pride
of King Louis XIV, where you will explore the
palace’s ornate rooms including the Hall of
Mirrors. Tonight, opt for an exhilarating cruise
along the Seine River followed by a visit to the
Eiffel Tower for glorious views of the city skyline.

Day 7: Provence-Avignon-Pont du GardNimes- Aix-Nice The treasures of France’s
Provence region are revealed on today’s sightseeing tour. Drive to historic Avignon to see
the famed Pont d’Avignon and the 14th-century
Palace of the Popes. Admire the remarkable
Roman aqueduct at Pont du Gard and visit the
well-preserved Roman Amphitheatre in Nimes,
built during the reign of Augustus. Continue to
the lovely tree-lined Cours Mirabeau of Aix-enProvence en route to the Nice area, the “Jewel
of the French Riviera.” Tonight, join your Tour
Director on a Walking Tour.
Day 4: Paris-TGV to Geneva-Lausanne
Day 5: Lausanne-Montreux-GruyeresLausanne Enjoy an orientation tour of
Day 8: Nice-Eze-Monaco-Nice Today’s
orientation tour takes you along Nice’s Promenade des Anglais and the Old City’s winding
streets. Dramatic ocean views punctuate your
ride along the Corniche of the Riviera. Visit a
local Parfumerie in Eze before you proceed to
fairytale Monaco to see Princess Grace’s Palace
and to visit the Cathedral where she is buried.
Drive through Monte Carlo before returning
to Nice.
Lausanne before driving around scenic Lake
Geneva. Stop in Montreux, the setting of the

Board Europe’s fastest train, the TGV, to Geneva.
Upon arrival, see the Place des Nations, the
Reformation Monument, and the amazing Jet
d’Eau on your sightseeing tour. Continue to

and the Alps.
