The Adroit MK2 robotic arm is the next generation in HDT’s dexterous manipulator family, including single arm and dual arm manipulation
capabilities and left- and right- handed configurations. Adroit MK2 robotic arm systems are light-weight and high-strength, with unmatched
dexterity. The Adroit MK2 family features a new three degree of freedom torso for dual arm systems, providing even greater dexterity.
The Adroit MK2 three-finger conformal end effector has four degrees of freedom
with an opposable thumb and can use a variety of tools designed for a human
hand. This ruggedized end effector is watertight and includes mounting rails for
fitment of accessories, including a bucket that allows the Adroit MK2 arm to be
used as a miniature backhoe.
The power density of an Adroit MK2 Arm is several times better than any other
available solution. The arm has a load capacity over 50 pounds (23 kg) yet weighs
only 16 pounds (7.3 kg) for an 11 degree of freedom configuration (including end
effector). Two-arm MK2 systems can lift in excess of 110 lb (50 kg).
Mounting kits for many robots are available now. Please inquire about kit availability
for your particular application.

The Adroit MK2 arm is completely modular, and each module is sealed to IP67 environmental
