Usage
KAMAXID is a two-component system for the production of chlorine dioxide on site on the basis of sodium chlorite and an
activating agent.
KAMAXID is used for easy disinfection of water systems (pipelines, reservoirs, filtration systems) without technical mixing devices.
KAMAXID can eliminate microorganisms (in particular Legionella) in water systems and keep them free.
Directions for use
The 1 liter bottle (COMPONENT B) is filled in the 25 liter jerrycan (COMPONENT A) and mixed by shaking well. After 2 hours
reaction time the now ready-to-use solution can be added to the water system. Depending on the application the dosage could be
diversify between 120 mL per m³ (approximately 0.2 mg ClO2 / L equivalent) up to 1200 mL per m³ (equivalent to about 2 mg
ClO2 / L). For more information see the package insert.
Ingredients
25 kg of a 0.3% sodium chlorite solution and 1 L of 9% hydrochloric acid.

Further products
concentration of chlorine dioxide should always be monitored by measuring device (DPD method). For this purpose, especially
our DRNÜSKEN-PHOTOMETER 4-in-1 (with the parameters chlorine - chlorine dioxide (No. 54140) - pH - acid capacity) is
recommended.
For safe application we supply the necessary equipment consisting of water meters, proportional dosing, pump and accessories.
