- 't' RESOLUTION NO. . .WJML:LCJ:amf 7-7-65 15C 171-65 A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH A RESORT IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO BE KNOWN AS TAHOE PARADISE RESORT IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of El Dorado, California, that WHEREAS~ a Written Request has been filed with this Board requesting that a District be formed and established, to be known as Tahoe Paradise ~~xHerga Resort Improvement District, pursuant to the Resort Improvement District Law, Division 11 of the Public Resources Code, to consist of the territory the boundaries of which are set forth in a description hereto attached, marked Exhibit nA rt and by reference made a part hereof, requesting that said District be authorized to exercise the powers hereinafter statedj WHEREAS, said Written Request is signed by not less than two (2) members of the Board of Supervisors of El Dorado County, in accordance with Section 13030 of the Public Resources Code and Section 25210.11 of the Government Code; WHEREAS, said proposed District consists only of unincorporated territory entirely in El Dorado County and eighty per cent (8~%) or more of the assessed valuation of the land within the proposed District as shown on the last equalized County assessment roll 1s owned by persons, associations, corporations, or partnerships having their actual residence elsewhere; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED, as follows: 1. A Resort Improvement District is proposed to be formed in the territory described in said Exhibit nAn, and proposed to be known as Tahoe Paradise Resort Improvement District. 2. It is proposed that said District shall have and exercise the following powers now or hereafter provided in Chapter 5 of said Division, to wit: a) Public recreation by means of parks, including but not limited to, aquatic parks and recreational harbors, playgrounds, golf courses, swimming pools or recreation buildings for all-year recreation, including but not limited to facilities for public and private meetings, and other public squares and places. 3. Except where funds are otherwise available, a tax sufficient to pay for all services furnished under the above enumerated powers will be annually levied upon all taxable property within the proposed District. 4. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Monday, __A_u_g~u_s_t__l_6_____, 1965, at the hour of 2:10 o'clock ~.M.
