Log in to Software
A: Download
Skip this step if you have already
downloaded the software or are
installing from the included CD.
Otherwise download the latest version
from www.stamps.com/download

Select Postage Option
In the left navigation bar, select the
type of postage you wish to print. If you
are unsure, start by using the Postage
Wizard which will guide you through all
available options.
Stamps: Print postage
on NetStamps labels
and use them just
like regular stamps.
NetStamps labels can
be used for any domestic or international
mail class and on any mailpiece type
including letters, flats, and packages.
Log in
C: The Stamps.com software should start
automatically after installation. You
can also launch the software from the
desktop or the Start Menu. Log in using
your username and password.

When finished downloading, you can
find the installation file in your
browser’s download history, on your Desktop, or in your Downloads folder.
Double click the “Stamps.exe” icon or
file to start the installation, then follow the install instructions in the setup wizard to complete installation.

Envelopes:

Connect Scale
If you have a Stamps.com scale, you
should connect and test it now. If not,
you can skip this step.
A: Connect cable
Connect the scale to
your computer using the
USB cable provided with
your scale. Please note
that this cable also powers
your scale.

Print postage
You are now ready to print postage.
A: Enter required information
Select the desired postage options and
choose what you want to print on. Enter
the delivery address if necessary.
B: Turn scale on
Once you turn the
scale on, the
Stamps.com
software will
automatically recognize your
scale and you can begin using it.
C: Weigh your mailpiece
stamps.com
Click the “weigh” button in the software
to transfer the weight from the scale
once, or select the “auto” checkbox to
transfer weight from the scale to the
software whenever the weight changes.

Print postage, addresses,
customs forms, and
tracking (where offered
by USPS) in one easy
step on shipping labels
or plain paper.
B: Print a sample
It is important to print a sample to make
sure you have correctly loaded the item
you are printing on and that all printer
settings are correct. To print a sample,
click on the “Print Sample” button.
C: Print postage
When you are ready to print your
postage, click on the “Print Postage”
button.
Note: If your first print doesn’t print
correctly, you can reprint it at no cost to
you by clicking on the “Reprint” button.
If you still have problems, you can refund
the misprint by clicking on “Refund” in
the left navigation bar.
