Bobby McGee's entertainment venue in Melbourne is a space that caters for all types of social & business events. From creative business breakfasts, impressionable
product launches, themed cocktail parties with pizzazz or the best of birthday bashes, the versatility and capability of the venue is only limited by your imagination.
Bobby’s is more than an events venue - it is an exclusive entertainment venue with a difference! The venue has a capacity of 500 people, with three bars, Beach, Roxy
and Mobil – all themed. Bobby’s ticks all the boxes, ample car parking (located under Rydges Melbourne hotel), 3 private entries, green rooms, accommodation,
disabled access, amphitheatre style dance floor with state of the art lighting & a sensational sound system flexible enough to provide whatever live music it is you desire.
With a 3am licence to party the night away, alfresco smoking area, large cloak room & optional chill out room, Bobby McGee's has your next wow! Event covered.
*Ability to hold groups up to 600 using our adjoining chill out room.

Bobby’s Block Parties are the ideal way for small businesses and groups to
celebrate another hard working year!
Your group will be provided with a designated space (with signage) in the
venue at the beginning of the evening before all spaces are combined and
it’s time to party!
Your guests will enjoy delicious gourmet canapés, food stations and unlimited
beverages for 4 hours. The night will include an array of entertainment,
pyrotechnic special effects, pop-up delights and our much loved 3.6 metre
donut wall.
EVENT TIMINGS
Event Start Time : 7.00pm
Beverage Package : 7.00pm – 11.00pm
Cash Bar : 11.00pm – 12.30am
Event Concludes: 12.30am
Guests may purchase beverages not included in the beverage package
throughout the evening. At the conclusion of the beverage package, guests
may continue to purchase drinks at bar prices until 12.30am.
The event is a cocktail style event with sufficient seating available throughout
the venue including booth seating and cocktail furniture.

DJ playing a mix of top 40 hits, 80’s classics and party favourites. Have a
special request? Be sure to let our in-house DJ know!
EVENT SPECIAL EFFECTS
Special effects including confetti and streamer cannons throughout the night
to ensure your party goes off with a BANG!
STATE OF THE ART AUDIO VISUAL
Bobby McGee’s features two large cinematic projectors, state of the art
lighting and audio systems and event special effects.
3.6 METRE DONUT WALL
Guests will arrive to a 3.6 metre edible donut wall as they enter the venue. Take
a team shot or a few ‘selfies’ before the delicious donuts are served as a
roaming dessert canapé.

Minimum guest numbers must be confirmed at the time of booking. Numbers
may increase after this time provided there is availability. A 30% deposit is
required at the time of booking to confirm.
