He admits his weakness with a humble and sorrowful heart. He preaches only Christ and His power to heal and save and bring life. Our best chance of being heard is to be aware of our own short comings and despite them, allow Christ to reign in our lives, by seeking forgiveness often and dipping into the never ending ocean of grace that is Christ, present in the Eucharist, the sacraments and in his Word and though our prayer. Many thanks for your generosity. This Sunday we will have the monthly ACA (Addiscombe Catholic Aid) with proceeds going to Ecuador. Next week is Sea Sunday, when the Church prays for all those who live and work at sea. There will be a second collection for Apostleship of the Sea, the official maritime welfare agency of the Catholic Church in Great Britain. It provides practical and spiritual support to seafarers visiting our ports. Please give generously to support its important work.
