Dress Rehearsal
1. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled rehearsal time. Rehearsal
Schedule is on page *** of this packet, at the studio, and on our website.
2. Hair and makeup should be done exactly as it will be on recital day. ALL students in
Kindergarten through Advanced level classes should have hair in a bun.
Preschool students should have hair half up, half down. All students should have blush and
lipstick of any color. Eye makeup is suggested but not required for young dancers.
3. When you arrive, please go to the Auditorium and find the row that labeled with your
dancer’s class name. **Dancers will then be assigned their classrooms**
4. The first 2 rows in the Auditorium are designated for parents of dancers on stage
so you can take pictures and/ or videos. Please take advantage of this time. THERE IS
NO VIDEOGRAPHY OR PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED AT THE RECITAL!! There will be
a professional videographer at the recital. Please order a DVD (page ***).
5. Once your child is done onstage, they will be go to the cafeteria for their photographs. You may meet your dancer there. Please note that if your dancer is having an
individual picture taken, this can be done anytime before or after their class’ time slot.
6. Your account balance must be $0 in order for your dancer to participate. Please
make sure your 10th installment payment is made by the 2nd of June. Should you
need to pay at the dress rehearsal, we will only accept CASH payments.
7. The dress rehearsal is NOT OPTIONAL. If you are not at the dress rehearsal, you
will not participate in recital. NO EXCPETIONS WILL BE MADE.
Online Ticket Sales
Tickets can be purchased ONLINE beginning at 10:00am on April 22, 2017.
The website: http://www.recitalticketing.com/25063. This link will also be provided on our
website, Facebook, and in our monthly newsletter.
You need a code in order to purchase your tickets. Please see Miss. Nicole at the main
desk to confirm your account is up– to– date. She will then give you your code.
Tickets are $15 each and are ASSIGNED SEATING!! There is a service charge of $1.60
per ticket. If there are any remaining tickets, they will be sold for $20 (CASH only) at the
dress rehearsal and recital.
**Please Note** Recital tickets are non-refundable.

Recital
Arrival
1. Arrive 45 minutes before show time in full hair & make up and in your first dance
costume.
2. When you arrive for your show, please check your dancer in at the Dancer
Check– In Table by the entrance then bring them to their assigned location.
1. Dancers with LESS THAN 6 different dancers will be in a classroom. If you have 6
dances or more, you will be in a quick change area. After you bring your dancer to his
or her assigned classroom or area, please head to the auditorium.
For Our Dancers’ Safety
Once the show begins, NO parents are permitted into classrooms until the end of
the show—this includes intermission!! Students MAY NOT leave the backstage area
until the show is completely over.
What to Bring to the Recital
1. Please pack fun quiet activities for young dancers to play with while they are waiting in their classrooms. Coloring books and board or card games are great options. It is
highly recommended that no expensive or electronic items be brought so they are not
lost or damaged.
2. Students may have water and “Neat Eats” - this means snacks that are non– messy
so costumes stay clean and stain free. This also means the snacks DO NOT CONTAIN
NUTS OR NUT PRODUCTS, as there are dancers with allergies. Check out our
website for more information and healthy “Neat Eat” options.
3. Be sure to pack hairspray, bobby pins, and makeup for quick touch ups between
dances. Check out our website for other tips on what to pack in your “Just in Case”
bag. There will be moms backstage with the girls at all times to help them with hair and
make up touch ups as well as any costume changes.
4. Remember your DVD Order Form! The Recital is the final day we will accept orders.

Recital Helpers
The recital is what our dancers prepare for all year long. Their hard work and dedication all
comes down to this beautiful show case of their talents! Without the outstanding helpers
that volunteer their time, this event would not be possible! Thank you in advance to
everyone who will donate their time to make this event special and successful!
If you are interested in signing up as a helper, there are sign up sheets in both lobbies.
Please write your name on only one of them. We need people for tasks such as manning
the snack shack, distributing trophies and flowers, and selling 50/50 tickets.
We also need class Moms! If you are interested in being one for your daughters class, you
can sign up by her classroom door. Please remember that only moms can be backstage
because there are girls changing. Dads, we would love to have you help out in the lobby
with snacks, collecting/ checking tickets, handing out programs, etc!
