Terms and Conditions
As used herein: “Ambassador” means a User who refers Potential Customer(s); “Friend” means a
Potential Customer referred by Referrer under the Program; and “Participants” means
“Ambassador” and “Friends” participating in the Program.
The promotion is valid from 14 February – 30 June 2016 (both dates inclusive) (“The promotion
Period”)
1. Ambassador and Friend each will be eligible to receive $10 in the form of Singtel mCash( the
‘Prize”) when Ambassador refer a friend to register a Singtel mRemit account and remit via
mWallet within thirty (30) days from the date of registration.
2. To be eligible for the Promotion:
a. Participants must have an existing mRemit account during the promotion period.
b. Friend referred by Ambassador must register a Singtel mRemit account and remit for
the first time via mWallet within thirty (30) days from the date of registration.
c. Ambassador must SMS friend’s mobile number to 741520 using the below format:
<MRR1> <Space> <Friend’s mobile number>
d. Participants mRemit account( Participants “Singtel mCash Account”) must be and
remain valid, and must not for any reason be terminated and/or suspended, during
the Promotion period.
e. Friend must comply at all times (including, but not limited to, in making the first
remittance with the terms and conditions governing the use of your Singtel mCash
Account (as defined below), including, but not limited to, the Singtel mCash Terms
and Conditions and mRemit Service Terms and Conditions (both of which may be
accessed at http://info.singtel.com/personal/phones-plans/mobile/singtelmcommerce/mCash, http://info.singtel.com/personal/phones-plans/mobile/singtelmcommerce/mRemit).
3. If the eligibility criteria in paragraph 2 are met, Singtel will credit the prize to Participants
mRemit account within 14 business days from the date of SMS.
4. Without prejudice to any other provision in these Terms and Conditions, for the avoidance
of doubt:
a. Participants are entitled to receive the Prize upon fulfilling the criteria in paragraph
2 during the Promotion Period ;
b. the total amount of the Prize which Participants may be entitled to receive and
which Singtel may be required to credit to Singtel mCash Account, shall not in any
event exceed S$999; and
c. The Prize is not exchangeable for cash. Singtel shall not in any event have any
obligation or liability to pay you any amount in cash in connection with these Terms
and Conditions.
5. Notwithstanding any provision in these Terms and Conditions:
a. Singtel shall not be required to credit any amount to your Singtel mCash Account (or
to pay you any amount in any other form or manner) in connection with these
Terms and Conditions, if:
i. at any time Singtel, at its sole and absolute discretion, suspects any fraud in
relation to, and/or misuse of, your Singtel mCash Account, mRemit Account
to which your Singtel mCash Account relates (if any);
ii. your Singtel mCash Account and/or mRemit Account/are for any reason
terminated and/or suspended during the Promotion Period; and/or
iii. the phone number which is registered in respect of your Singtel mCash
Account and/or your mRmeit Account is for any reason changed (whether
by you or any other person, with or without your knowledge) during the
Relevant Period; and
iv. your Singtel mCash Account has exceeded the credit limit of S$999.
b.
Singtel shall be entitled to, at Singtel’s sole and absolute discretion and without
notice to you, deduct from your Singtel mCash Account, any amount which has been
credited to your Singtel mCash Account in connection with these Terms and
Conditions (or any part thereof), if:
i. you are not entitled to such amount (or any part thereof) or such amount
(or any part thereof) was not due to you in accordance with these Terms
and Conditions (including, but not limited to, where any of the eligibility
criteria in paragraph 2 are not or cease to be met) for any reason
whatsoever;
ii. at any time Singtel, at its sole and absolute discretion, suspects any fraud in
relation to, and/or misuse of, such amount (or any part thereof), your
Singtel mCash Account (whether by you or any other person, with or
without your knowledge); and/or
iii. either or both of the events described in paragraphs 5(a)(ii) and 5(a)(iii)
occur(s).
6. Singtel reserves the right to, at Singtel’s sole and absolute discretion and without notice to
you, at any time terminate the availability of the Prize and/or these Terms and Conditions,
and/or vary, amend, add to, delete, supplement and/or otherwise change these Terms and
Conditions. If the availability of the Prize and/or these Terms and Conditions is/are
terminated for any reason whatsoever, Singtel shall not be obliged or required to credit into
your Singtel mCash Account or otherwise pay you, and you shall not be entitled to claim
from Singtel, any sum in relation to the Prize to which you may be entitled but for such
termination.
7. Notwithstanding any other provision in these Terms and Conditions, Singtel has the sole and
absolute discretion to determine a person’s (including, but not limited to, your) eligibility to
receive the Prize (or any part thereof).
8. Singtel’s decisions on all matters relating to or in connection with the Prize and these Terms
and Conditions shall be final. No correspondence or claims will be entertained.
9. Singtel shall not in any event be liable in any way to you or any person for any loss, liability,
damages or expense whatsoever, howsoever arising, in connection with these Terms and
Conditions (including, but not limited to, that arising from or in connection with any failure
or delay by Singtel to credit the Prize (or any part thereof) to you or any person).
