Correction Notice: TransLink
In May 2012, Common Sense Advisory published a ranking of the Top 100 language
service providers (LSPs) in the world as well as the top providers in each region of the
world (see “The Language Services Market: 2012,” May11). This correction notice
describes the corrections issued in relation to TransLink.
Description of Corrections
After the report was published, Common Sense Advisory was made aware that
TransLink had attempted to submit its full financial data for inclusion in the ranking,
even though Common Sense Advisory only received a partial submission from the
company. TransLink subsequently provided Common Sense Advisory with its total
revenue for fiscal year 2011 of US$6.86 million and provided authorization for this
amount to be published.
As a result of the information not being received through the submission process, the
company was not included in the global ranking of the top 100 providers worldwide
or in the regional ranking for Eastern Europe. Had the company been included, it
would have appeared in position #82 in the 2012 global ranking and as #8 in the
2012 regional ranking for Asia. As a result, companies with lower revenue amounts
would have been listed below TransLink and one company would have been removed
from each list.
