Blues on Belgrade: Concert began in 2009 as the Belgrade
Ave. Blues and Jazz Festival on a small gravel parking lot just
off of the 200 block of Belgrade Ave. In 2010 the concert was
moved to the East end of Belgrade Ave. and in 2011, the stage
was located at the intersection of Range St. and Belgrade Ave.
In 2012 the Belgrade Ave. Blues and Jazz Festival became
the Blues on Belgrade Concert. The Business on Belgrade
Association strives to bring you the finest of entertainment for
the Blues on Belgrade Concert free of charge to you

of the 38 Dakota warriors hanged on December 26,

buildings in Mankato and North Mankato dedicated
to reconciliation and remembrance of the U.S.-Dakota
War of 1862 and the 38 Dakota Warriors executed in
the largest mass hanging in American history.
Several of these memorials can be found in and
around Reconciliation Park in City Center Mankato.
Reconciliation Park is a sacred parcel of land to the
Dakota, as it represents the site of the 1862 execution. Located at the northeast corner of Main
Street and Riverfront Drive, this memorial parkette
was built through a unique collaboration of the

grounds of the Blue Earth County Library, the

my favorite places to run, as it offers both a scenic and
peaceful natural setting within the City Center. Going north
on the trail you frequently see wildlife, including deer,
