Today’s Meeting (Thursday, February 27, 2014)
Program Leader Linda Winters has invited Dr. Richard Page, Superintendent of the
Gravette Public School District, to speak on the proposed elementary school to be built on
land on the south side of AR Hwy 340 near St. Bernard Catholic Church. The site is in western
Bella Vista within the Gravette School District. Dr. Page’s talk will be a great opportunity,
especially for Rotarians and guests who live in the Highlands area of Bella Vista to get answers
to questions they may have. Dr. Page’s presentation will come a week after a public forum at
Highlands Crossing presented by members of the Gravette School District’s Board of
Education. The forum is one of several scheduled will give information on plans for the school
and answer questions from residents who live in the Gravette School District. Three Bella
Vista residents who live in the Gravette School District are elected members of the Board of
Education. They are John Edwards, Susan Santos, and Jack Skillett.
