Homework
Each day your child is expected to do the following at home:
10 minutes reading 5 minutes learning of spellings 5 minutes times table practice
Your child will also receive homework each week that relates to the work done in class. Please encourage and help
your child to do this work and give it in on the following Wednesday, so that I can mark it and set new homework.
Your help with this is much appreciated, thank you.
Reading Tree challenge
Can I also remind you about our class reading tree challenge which will be continuing this term. If your child
manages to read twice or more with an adult in one week and get their reading record signed by the adult then they
will earn a leaf for the reading tree.

This information is here to let you know the work your children will be doing this term. If any of you would like to
discuss anything, please do not hesitate to catch me after school.
