 ONSITE SCHOOL PRESENTATIONS FOR ALL GRADES! Take a field trip to WLC where we bring the life sciences to life! Your students will
enjoy learning about the life sciences in the lush, natural environment of WLC’s
outdoor classroom. After viewing one of our wildlife presentations with several
fascinating animals, your students can then explore the park and see all of the
animals that call WLC home. Choose one of our two exciting hour-long
interactive presentations from below.
Animals from Around the World
Two friendly and knowledgeable biologists will introduce your students to animals
from almost every continent on Earth! During this interactive presentation, your
students will learn where each animal occurs in the world, its habitat, its
adaptations, what it eats, and many other interesting and fun facts. You will meet
an African Serval Wildcat, North American Porcupine, Arctic fox or African
Fennec Fox, African Sulcata Tortoise, American Alligator, Eurasian Tawny Owl
or Native Red-tailed hawk, South American Red Tegu Lizard or African
Savannah Monitor Lizard, and a large Southeast Asian Python.
$270 for up to 20 participants (Children + Adults)

Environmental Awareness Presentation
This lesson focuses on our environment and how our activities can have a
detrimental impact on wildlife. This wonderful variety of animals from around the
world will serve as real life examples of how animals and plants form a
community, how people impact the balance of nature, and what each of us can
do to help. You will meet a Serval Wildcat, Three-banded Armadillo, Fennec or
Arctic Fox, American Alligator, Macaw Parrot, North American Porcupine,
Madagascar Hissing Cockroach, and a large Burmese Python.
$270 for up to 20 participants (Children + Adults)

PRE-K AND KINDERGARTEN—PLAY AND LEARN (50 student maximum)
This presentation is specifically designed for the wee ones. We are experts at
short attention spans and will incorporate shapes, patterns, and simple counting
to create a fun introduction to the world of animals. Two of our caring biologists
will take the students on a magical adventure in our outdoor classroom for an
interactive 30-minute presentation. After the presentation, you and your students
can enjoy exploring the rest of the park to see all of the animals that call WLC
home. Choose one of the captivating presentations below.

Junior-Animals from Around the World Presentation
During this budget friendly presentation, one of our friendly biologists will
introduce you to fascinating animals from around the world in a manner that is
both interactive and fun. We focus on what each animal eats, its habitat, its size
and shape, and many other interesting and fun facts. Meet a North American
Porcupine, African Fennec Fox, American Alligator, Snake, African Pygmy
Hedgehog, and one of our Big Bugs!
Reptiles and Friends
Reptiles are undeniably intriguing but often times misunderstood. Our biologist
will introduce your students to a variety of reptiles and teach you about their
fascinating lives while dispelling some common myths. You will meet an African
Sulcata Tortoise, baby American Alligator, Australian Blue-tongued skink,
Leopard Gecko, Milk Snake, European Legless Lizard, Kenyan Sand Boa,
Chilean Rose-haired Tarantula, Madagascar Hissing Cockroach, and an Indian
Walking Stick.
Our Gazebo can be reserved for you to enjoy lunch after your tour. Please
