Installing OverDrive Media Console on an Android Device The OverDrive Media Console app lets you read EPUB ebooks and listen to MP3 audiobooks, and itcan be installed on a wide variety of mobile devices, including: Android phones and tablets, including the popular Nexus devices eBook reading tablets like the Kindle Fire, Nook Color, Nook Tablet, Nook HD, Nook HD+ Apple iOS devices, including the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, iPad Mini Blackberry phones Windows 7 phone and Microsoft Surface RT ta tablet 1.Depending nding on the device you have, find the OverDrive Media Con Console App in your app store: 2. Once you locate the app, tap Install, then accept the agreement to continue installation. 3. Open the app to access the OverDrive Media Console. 4. You may or may not be prompted to authorize the device with your Adobe ID. The app must be authorized with a free Adobe ID before an Adobe EPUB title can be fully downloaded and opened. If you skip this step, you y will be prompted to register your app with an A Adobe dobe ID when you download your first Adobe EPUB eBook. It is not necessary to authorize the app for MP3 audiobook downloads. If you already have an Adobe ID: Tap Settings. Enter your Adobe ID and password. Tap Authorize. If you do not have an Adobe ID: Tap Get a free Adobe ID. This will open Adobe's website. Follow the steps teps to create an Adobe account. Return to OMC and go to the App Settings screen. Enter your newly created Adobe ID (email address) and password,, then tap Authorize. Note: If you u would like to download the same eBook to another computer or device, be sure to authorize using the same Adobe ID. 5. At this point, you can use either the OMC mobile app's browser (which is built into the app itself) OR the web browser installed on your device (Safari or Chrome, for example) to browse the NHDB site and download eBooks and audiobooks. Either method works eequally well with Android devices.
