solutionwithyour
chlorineteststrips.
DIRECTIONS:
•
Prepareyournormalchlorinesanitizersolution
(i.e.,solutionof¼cupofbleachpergallonofwater).
•
Takeonepartofthischlorinesanitizersolutionand
mixwithninepartswater.
•
Followingthedirectionsonthechlorineteststrip
label,putthechlorineteststripintothediluted
solution(onepartchlorinesanitizerandnineparts
water).
•
Checkthecolorofthechlorineteststripwiththe
colorindicatorchartontheteststripcontainer.
•
Identifythecoloronthecolorindicatorchartthat
matchestheteststripcolorandseewhatppmis
stated(thisistheppmofchlorineintheonepart
chlorinesanitizersolutionmixedwithnineparts
water).
•
Multiplytheppmconcentrationyouobtainbyten.
Thiswillgiveyoutheppmoftheoriginalchlorine
sanitizer(i.e.,thesolutionof¼cupofbleachper
gallonofwater).
