Planned Overhaul
Objective
Purpose of the planned overhaul is to
recondition the LIST system during a
scheduled shut-down and thereby ensure
continued system productivity.
Scope
• Re-engineering.
• Obtain authorizations and code
certifications as needed.
• LIST will issue the customer an
advance checklist in preparation for
the overhaul.
• Partial disassembly of the LIST system
and peripherals.
• Installation of jigs.
• On-site welding where required.
• Conduct other necessary repairs and
upgrades (LCM 13).
• Conduct scheduled maintenance work.
• Customer and LIST to jointly review
the customer’s spare parts inventory
and make necessary adjustments.
• Answering of any customer questions
and component specific training.
Required Preparation by Customer
In preparation for the overhaul the system
must be shut down, emptied and cleaned
in accordance with the check list.
Documentation
• Visit report.
• Code documentation and certificates.
• Amendment of project documentation.

productivity while avoiding time
consuming and costly unscheduled
downtime.

Required Time to Complete
• Depending on system complexity and
extent of work.
Overhaul minimum 5 days
Start-Up minimum 1 day
Weld Coating of the Agitator
Note: The required time to complete the
overhaul can be estimated during a
preceding scheduled maintenance
meeting (LCM 10).
Required Material and Equipment
• Welding equipment, tools, welding
rods as needed.
• Spare parts and replacement of wear
parts as needed.
