Organizational Background
Founded in 2008, Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute (RMMFI) is an innovative and rapid-paced

Entrepreneurs who build businesses to advance along the pathway to self-sufficiency and self-worth.
RMMFI strives to be an energetic and creative workplace that places high value on both the quality

business development services, relationship based support, and accountability for moving the business
forward. The RMMFI Program spectrum includes:
 Exploring Business Ownership—a 2-part series offered on a monthly basis to allow community
members the opportunity to explore their idea, gain exposure to some planning tools, and gain an
understanding of the role RMMFI can play in the journey toward business launch
 Business Development Program (BDP)—an ongoing offering of 1-on-1 sessions and group-based
learning opportunities, BDP works to support clients as they refine their business model and
prepare for the Boot Camp application process
 Business Launch Boot Camp—a 12 week intensive program offered 3 times per year, the Boot
Camp is designed to bring 10-12 entrepreneurs from idea to launch by providing the right mix of
learning, coaching and mentorship, peer and community support, and microloans
