Maths Whizz or My Maths for 45 – 60 minutes, on whatever topic you are currently working on
in Mathematics.
ALTERNATIVE IDEA: You could look for an investigation on either wildmaths or
www.nrich.maths.org Try it out, and write up what you do.
If you have no internet: Try working from your Schofield & Sims books instead!

WRITING:
Write a cinquain or acrostic poem or a story about the snowy weather. Brainstorm adjectives to
describe the scene outside and use a dictionary or thesaurus to improve your vocabulary!
READING:
Spend some time reading the book you currently have. Then fill in your reading diary and keep it
up to date…
Other Subjects
History: Look up a few further myths from Ancient Greece and makes notes about them in your
history books
Religious Studies: You could create some prayers for those who are homeless in this weather,
and share them with the class – maybe even write them up for the Prayer Board.
