2016 anesthesia conversion factor update
Summary of change: Effective with dates of service on and after January 1, 2016, the anesthesia conversion
factor for calendar year 2016 has changed from $21 to $21.20. Previously this month, we informed you that
the conversion factor was $21.
 What this means to you: For claims with dates of service on and after January 1, 2016, Amerigroup
Kansas, Inc. will use the updated conversion factor of $21.20 to process anesthesia claims.
