UPDATE To Traffic Pattern – When dropping off students please pull up curbside to the flagpole. Please do not drop students off in front of the high school doors; this creates a back-up of cars and a safety hazard for other cars. At dismissal, students should wait for parents on the sidewalk in front of the flagpole; students should not walk down to Academy Street to be picked up due to student safety concerns. Parent / Guardian Signature:___________________________________Date:_________________ Epping School District Child Find Clinic The Epping School District will be holding a Child Find Clinic at the Epping Preschool on Friday, 1/22/16 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. The purpose of the Child Find is to screen the developmental skills of children between the ages of 2.5 to 6 (those not enrolled in Kindergarten) who may be in need of special education services. The screenings are completed by school personnel and address the areas of motor skills, speech and language, vision, hearing and pre-academics. If you think your child may have difficulties or a delay in any of these areas, please call 679-8003 extension 103 to set up an appointment (appointments are required). This service is free of charge and open to all Epping residents. All results are confidential. SEE YOU THERE! *** SNOW DATE 1/29/16 *** Ongoing Child Find Program School Administrative Unit # 14 which serves the Epping School District provides services to eligible educationally disabled students between the ages of 3 and 21 and evaluates potentially educationally disabled students at age 3. This district believes in early identification and maintains an active “Child Find” program. The special education team will maintain an “open referral” policy to screen or fully evaluate students in the areas of language, motor and cognitive functioning. These services are available to residents of Epping. Child Find procedures are mandated by ED 1103.01 as stated in the New Hampshire Rules for the Education of Children with Disabilities.
