Hurricane Otto - Estimated Impacts

Summary NHC: At 1000 PM EST (0300 UTC), the center of Hurricane Otto was located near latitude 11.2 North, longitude 82.2
West. Otto is moving toward the west near 9 mph (15 km/h). This general motion is expected for the next couple of days with an
increase in speed on Thursday. On the forecast track, the center of Otto will move onshore within the hurricane warning area on
Thursday, and reach the Pacific coast of southern Nicaragua or northern Costa Rica early Friday. Maximum sustained winds are
now near 85 mph (140 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional strengthening is possible before landfall, with weakening expected as
the cyclone crosses southern Nicaragua and northern Costa Rica. Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 10 miles (20 km)
from the center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 70 miles (110 km).
