FANTASTIC MATH GAMES
Does your child enjoy playing Math games at home or at school but MISSED OUT ON OUR FIRST
MATH GAMES SESSION? Well, here’s another chance to sign your child up for “Fantastic Math
Games”. Based on the first grade curriculum, we will play a variety of math games which will review the
topics being covered by your child’s teacher. Each time we meet, you will be asked to send in a fruit,
vegetable, or dairy snack for your child to enjoy right after school. After getting our bodies refueled, we
will introduce a few games to your child and then spend the rest of the time playing the games. You will
get a copy of the games with instructions so that you may also play the games at home with your child.
We hope to see your child at “Fantastic Math Games”!
Where: Room # 14 at Copper Hill
When: Thursdays in January: 26 February 2, 9, 16, 23 March: 1
Time: 3:30-5 p.m.
Who: 1st Graders
Fee: $66
Facilitators: First Grade Teachers Mrs. Ritter & Miss Szierer
Minimum: 15
Supervision for this program will be provided immediately following dismissal. A note will be provided
for you to fill out for your child’s teacher indicating that your child will be attending an afterschool activity on these dates. A signed permission slip is required along with a check made payable to
Parks and Recreation. Please return the check and registration form to Mrs. Ritter by January 20th at
Copper Hill School. All registrations are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Please consider your
registration accepted unless otherwise notified. Please pick up your child promptly at 5 p.m. in the
FOYER of Copper Hill School. **Children in the YMCA aftercare program can be picked up and
returned to aftercare.
