Citations: – http://www.madsci.org – http://www.crest.com HYPOTHESIS My hypothesis was: If I put 5 different soda pops in a separate cup from each other with an egg then Coke will be worse for your teeth because it has more sugar and more sodium. MATERIALS Mountain Dew Dr. Pepper Sprite Coke Fanta Water 6 eggs 6 cups PROCEDURE: STEPS 1. Gather materials. 2. Put eggs in cups. 3. Pour 250 milliliters of different soda in each cup. 4. Put water in egg with cup. 5. Leave in refrigerator for 1 week. 6. Check once a day. 7. Record results. VARIABLES Constants: Soda and water Controlled variables: Comparing sodas Independent (manipulated) variable: Water Dependent (measured) variable: How much the egg breaks or decays.
