Find the Fractions
This activity can be used for practice after
students have developed the ability to determine
whether or not fractions are equivalent.

Scatter the fraction cards throughout the
room.
Have individuals or partners find the fraction
cards around the room.
When students find a fraction card, they
record the fraction in the correct column on
their recording sheet (underneath the
equivalent fraction).
Students continue until they have found and
recorded all the fraction cards.
