Video Cube - Specifications
Definition
The video cube is a 3D 6 sided interactive ad format served out of an in-page banner allowing advertisers to deliver their message in
a unique and compelling manner. The cube can hold multiple videos (minimum of 3 videos to be included), animated Flash elements,
white paper downloads and static imagery.

I. Video Cube Specifications ( CBS Interactive built)

File Format: FLV, F4V, MP4; or uncompressed MOV or AVI
Editing: Should have an aspect ratio of 1:1. Please specify whether the video should be
letterboxed inside the Cube Face or cropped to fit the Cube Face.
Flash
File Format: Source FLA and exported SWF, Flash Player 9 or higher, ActionScript 3.0 only.
Dimensions: Maintain aspect ratio of 1:1 ranging from 256x256 (acceptable for vector graphics)
to 512x512 (recommended for bitmap graphics).
Image
File Format: GIF, JPG
Dimensions: Maintain aspect ratio of 1:1 ranging from 256x256 (acceptable for vector graphics)
to 512x512 (recommended for bitmap graphics).
Whitepaper
Provide PDF of Whitepaper for image on cube
Video Resolution
The higher quality/resolution the creative, the better the cube will look and function. 1:1 ratio
(square) video formats work best.
Additional requirements
Video subtitles: 7-10 wkg days
Subtitles video sync: 7-10 wkg days

Required: Close button that closes the Video Cube

Testing
All creative must function uniformly on both Windows and Mac OS X operating systems as well as the following browsers: Internet
Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari for Mac OS X.
Deadlines:
We require 14 working days (not including client approval time) and all creative assets to build video cubes. Please allow around 4
calendar weeks turnaround time.
If the submitted creative does not conform to the above specifications, it will not be placed online and may result in a delayed
launch date.
