Invitation
The New Zealand Rehabilitation Association invites you to participate in their
2017 Conference to be held on September 8 - 10 in Christchurch at the
Rydges Latimer.
The New Zealand Rehabilitation Association (NZRA), Inc. is a non-profit
organisation, and NZ Registered Charity, for anyone interested in rehabilitation
services in New Zealand. Many of our members are health professionals working
in different areas of rehabilitation in New Zealand, but we also have members
who are: people who use health and disability services and their family members,
health and disability advocates, employees within health funding agencies (such as
ACC and the Ministry of Health), as well as researchers and academics.
We are anticipating over 150 of our members and non-members to join us over
the three day conference.

Exhibition Information
Registrations
Exhibitor registration includes lunches, morning and afternoon teas and the
welcome function which is held amongst the exhibition. Tickets to the conference
dinner are able to be purchased separately during the online registration process.
Additional exhibitors can be registered to assist on the stand at a cost of $400 +
GST for the three days, or $250 + GST for one day.
Additional Equipment
Furniture hire and provision of internet connections are not included in any of the
packages. These items may be hired at an additional charge. Contact details will be
provided in the Sponsorship and Exhibition Manual to be distributed in May 2017.
Custom Designed Stands
Sponsors installing custom designed stands must provide the contact details
of their appointed stand contractor together with a plan showing full design
dimensions, and a graphic of the stand design to the event manager no later than
31 July 2017.
Sponsorship and Exhibition
Manual
A manual will be distributed to all sponsors in May 2017 and will contain details of
the online registration process for staff, the pack-in / pack-out schedule, supplier
contact details etc.
Health and Safety
We take the health and safety of our delegates, exhibitors and suppliers seriously.
The manual will provide you with full details around compliance when packing in
your stand and working throughout the conference. Please note that all electronic
equipment plugged in onsite must be tagged and tested. By agreeing to exhibit at
the conference, you agree to adhere to our health and safety policy.

Booking and Payment
All prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars and exclude GST (Goods and
Services Tax). GST is required to be applied to all packages at the rate prevailing at
the date of invoicing or payment, whichever is earlier (currently 15%).
Sponsorship packages and exhibition space will be allocated only on receipt of the
booking form (i.e. a first come, first served basis).
All payments should be made in New Zealand dollars by credit card or bank
transfer.
All payments due must be received by the conference managers prior to the
conference. No sponsor will be allowed to set up their exhibition stand at the
conference until full payment has been received.
Sponsors may not assign or sublet any part of their exhibition space.
The organising committee may need to make changes to the floor plan, however,
changes will not be undertaken without prior discussion with the companies
affected.
Sponsors consent to their contact details being shared with conference suppliers
and contractors.
Cancellation Policy
• If notification of cancellation of sponsorship is received in writing:
• Prior to 31 May 2017, your deposit will be refunded in full, less an
administration charge of $150
• From 1 June 2017, you are liable for 100% of the package selected.
The organising committee reserves the right to cancel the conference in case of
circumstances beyond their control. In such a case all monies paid to date will be
refunded in full less any expenses incurred. The liability of the organisers will be
limited to that amount.
