How is the Digestion Plus better than other digestion products in the market?
Digestion Plus offers a 3-tier system to digestive health.
1) Probiotics are beneficial microflora found in the GI tract; a healthy balance is needed to
ensure proper digestion and utilization of nutrients.
2) Prebiotics like inulin or certain fibers help create an ideal environment for probiotics to
grow and colonize, increasing their effectiveness.
3) Enzymes help break down specific components of foods like protein, fat, carbohydrates, and many more so that they can be better absorbed and utilized.
Additionally, the probiotic, bacillus coagulans (BC-30) used in Digestion Plus is clinically proven to support GI health and proven to be much more robust (survive in the GI) than other types of probiotics.
What are probiotics and how do they benefit me?
Probiotics are beneficial microflora that exist in all of our digestive systems. Many factors such as poor
diet, stress and illness can affect the balance of these microflora. By adding probiotics to your diet, you
help support the natural balance in the GI, thus supporting day-to-day health and proper utilization of
nutrients from our diet.
What are prebiotics and how do they benefit me?
Prebiotics are ingredients such as chicory and other types of fibers that help create a more ideal environment in the GI for probiotics to grow. The prebiotics found in Digestion Plus are the Fructooligosaccharides (chicory).
What are bacillus coagulans?
Bacillus coagulans are a type of probiotic used to support microflora balance in the GI. The strain used
in Digestion Plus, BC-30 is clinically proven to support a healthy gastrointestinal tract. Additionally, studies show that BC-30 was robust enough to survive the journey through the GI, which many types of probiotics have not been proven to do.
How do enzymes benefit me?
Enzymes help break down specific components of foods (protein, sugar, fat, carbohydrates, etc.) so that
they be more efficiently absorbed and utilized by the GI tract.
Can I pour Digestion Plus into hot beverages?
No. Probiotics are sensitive to heat and do not survive in hot liquids. Use Digestion Plus in cold and
room temperature beverages.
Can I create a large batch of Digestion Plus and keep it in the fridge?
No. Water will activate the enzymes in the formula causing them to start working and eventually die. Additionally, probiotics do not survive long term in liquid, therefore we recommend mixing and enjoying
your beverage right away.
How often should I use Digestion Plus?
Use one stick pack of Digestion Plus per day with meals.
Can I give Digestion Plus to my child?
Digestion Plus has been formulated for adults. This being the case, we do not recommend Digestion
Plus for children unless approved by a physician.
What is the Ganeden BC30 logo on the product packaging?
The bacillus coagulans used in Digestion Plus is a unique trademarked ingredient called Ganeden BC
30. In deciding to use this superior ingredient, we agreed to feature the logo on our packaging.
Why would you need to use both the Digestion Plus and Herbal Colon Cleanse? And is it recommended to use both, or switch around using one on one day and the other the next day?
Herbal Colon Cleanse and Digestion Plus are very different from one another, and do not actually duplicate any benefits together. Herbal Colon Cleanse contains ingredients that help cleanse the digestive
tract. Ingredients like psyllium "scrub" the intestines, while other ingredients can function as a mild laxative. Digestion Plus on the other hand contains probiotics to help maintain a microfloral balance in the GI
tract, and prebiotics to help create an ideal environment for the probiotics to colonize. Additionally, Digestion Plus contains enzymes to help breakdown various components from the diet such as protein,
fat, carbohydrates, etc.
Can you take the 7-Day Body Cleanse and do the Disgestion Plus at the same time?
We do not recommend using both the 7-Day Body Cleanse and Digestion Plus at the exact same time.
However, there should not be any concerns if the products are used with time between. For example,
complete one bottle of 7-Day Body Cleanse by lunch, and use Digestion Plus after dinner.
How much sugar does the Digestion Plus product contain?
Digestion Plus contains 2 grams of sugar.
