Grown on the mountains slopes facing False Bay. Clear,
very pale green-gold colour, crisp balance; long finish,
zesty flavours’ of lemon followed by a pleasing flinty
minerality.
700 bottles only from this small vineyard on a steep and
difficult mountain slope which can only be worked by
hand.
8 months in French Oak wood ensures aromas of lime
zest, melon and grapefruit.

A legend in the making, the purple colour is followed by
aromas of blackberry liqueur, smoke, roasted meats &
minerals. Loads of glycerine, stunning concentration in a
massive wine that manages to be neither heavy nor
overdone. Matured in French Oak, new & second fill
barrels for 14 months.
Delicious red and black berry fruit characteristics with
lifted herbal and floral notes, all supported by subtle
cedary oak. This delightful wine is best matched to pasta
with tomato-based sauces or other Mediterranean
inspired dishes.
Intense & concentrated with a range of flavours, a unique
common character being violets. Generally a minor
component of a Bordeaux blend (less than 5%) owing to
its good body and firm fruit flavours. The "spice box"
contribution is dense fruit, dark colour, powerful flavours
and heavy tannins.
