tell you a story. This is a story about
Nelly’s big sister, Nosy. She lives in the
sea.
1. One day Nosy sees a boy and a girl in
a boat on the water.
2. Suddenly, a big wave comes, and
– splash! – the children are in the
water. They shout: ‘Mummy! Daddy!’
3. Nosy swims to the children. ‘Climb on
my back,’ she says. The girl climbs on
her back ‘Oh, thank you!’, she says.
4. The boy climbs on her back. ‘Oh,
thank you!’, he says. The girl and the
boy like riding on Nosy’s back.

Harry: Snowy is with the rabbit.
Ben: No, she isn’t. Can you see her?
Harry: No, I can’t see her. Oh dear, look,
here’s Mrs Cooke.
Mrs Cooke: What’s the matter boys?
