Concert Costumes (Oct 28th 2016)
Stockings available at our shop (tan & pink tights – Hip Hop hosiery is the Brand name!) – stock is
now in!!!!!
Fishnets will need to be purchased at Sequin City.


Fiesta tan fishnets for U12 & U10 Troupes.
Capezio elasticated fishnets U16 & Seniors.
If you need to paint your dance shoes we use ultra flex dark camel shoe paint (or black) from Sequin
City. If you have unpainted shoes that can just be cleaned up please do so if the shoes are tan
already. I am trying to do away with the painting of the shoes in the tan colour if possible.
All students will need to wear make-up for the concert. This is part of dancing. You will need:







Base make-up (one that suits your skin)
Face powder to set make-up and to make your face not look shiny
Chocolate brown and beige eyeshadows only
Black eyeliner & black mascara
U16’s/Sub-Seniors & Seniors need to wear eyelashes (use Ardell glue) Manicare Taylor are
good ones from Priceline or Sequin City
Blush (NOT PINK)
RED lipstick
Make-up must be dark as the stage lights will take over 50% of the colour off the face and makes you
look very white in the face on stage. Please have your make-up done for costume check week if you
are a non competition student or have never done a concert with us before.
HAIR
If you need to put hair into a bun please:







Slick hair all back with gel/hairspray (no fringes or wispy bits)
Tie in a pony tail with a strong hair lacky. Make sure it is tight.
Twist the pony tail then wind around into a tight bun and secure with BUN pins NOT BOBBY
PINS. Then put a hair net over the top to hold everything in place. The bun should be tight
and NOT move. Then you have a solid base to attach wigs and hair pieces. Do not spray hair
when you have your wigs on as this will ruin your wigs.
If you need to order a curly scrunchie, wigglet or messy scrunchie, please see Jenny Harris in
our shop to order these. Mon-4-6pm or Sat 9am-3pm. ORDERS IN AT THE LATEST SAT 5th
NOVEMBER.

Starting Saturday 19th November – Thursday 24th November. All classes run as normal, you just
have to bring your costumes and a Parent 
ALL students are to wear their costumes in classes this week with all hair done, stockings, correct
shoes. Make-up is also to be done if you have not done comps this year.
