three parks: Moore Park, Queens Park and Centennial Park and is
one of the world’s finest and most used urban open spaces. Situated
less than five kilometres from Sydney’s central business district and

Parklands portrays a rich cultural history as well as an abundance of
recreational opportunities. Enjoy a run, ride, picnic or ball game, or
just unwind beside the picturesque ponds with a good book.

helmets and follow one-way traffic directions.

Leave no trace
Please care for Centennial Parklands’ environment by disposing
of waste properly, respecting wildlife and being considerate of
other Park visitors.
Please don’t feed our wildlife
If you love our birds and animals, do the right thing and do not
feed them. Processed bread and non-natural foods are not
healthy for wildlife, and you may inadvertently be making our
birds and animals sick. Love them, but don’t feed them.
Centennial Parklands Foundation
The Centennial Parklands Foundation exists to raise funds and
awareness to support and enhance the three magnificent parks of
Centennial Parklands. It is an independent charitable organisation
established in 1998 to facilitate fundraising activities for the
Parklands under the Register of Environmental Organisations.

Our rules and regulations ensure the safety and enjoyment of
all visitors and protect the Parklands’ plant and animal life. Park
Rangers enforce the rules under State law. If you ignore or break
them, you could be fined. Below are some key rules.
• Vehicles must not exceed the 30 km per hour speed limit.
• Cyclists are not permitted to ride in packs of more than 16.
• Dogs must be on a lead inside and on the Grand Drive circuit
and within 10 metres of Federation Pavilion. You may exercise
your dog off-leash outside Grand Drive, but you must keep it
under control at all times.
The full list of regulations can be found on our website.
