WHY BARBADOS?
FESTIVAL GAME
This Caribbean paradise has it all. A magnificent cricket history that has
produced six cricketing knights, stunning beaches, a UNESCO World
heritage capitol, Bridgetown, great nightlife, beach resorts from humble
to grand and a proud and welcoming populace.
Wandering bustling Bridgetown with it’s many sights and old colonial
buildings can easily occupy a day. There is good shopping on Broad
Street and on pedestrian-only Swan St, which buzzes with the rhythms
of local culture.
Nearby St Lawrence Gap is famous for its bars, restaurants and shops
and a wonderful place for nighttime strolling.
Chill out on a beach, take a boat ride to swim with turtles, play golf
on world class courses or while away the time in a rum shack with the
locals.
On top of all this is Cricket – the nation lives and breathes it making it the
perfect venue for a Golden Oldies Cricket Festival.
A week of Fun, Friendship and Fraternity is guaranteed in 2017.
